ICAI, CA Intermediate registration last date for Nov 2021 and May 2022 exams.

Hello friends! I am sure your CA Foundation exams were all superb. We, at Mitkary Sir’s CAPS Academy, make sure that all the students have a smooth journey in their exams with timely course completion, regular test series, doubt solving sessions, etc. I am really sure that you all must be excited to enter for the big step-up in the CA Course i.e. CA Intermediate.

You can get the registration in CA Intermediate by two routes:

1. Through CA Foundation Course Route

   1. Appear for CA Intermediate Examination on completion of 8 months of study course as on the first day of the month in which the examination is to be held. Hence, for CA Intermediate registration the last date for Nov 2021 is 1st March 2021 and for May 2022 exams the last date for CA Intermediate registration is 1st September 2021.
   2. Undergo four weeks Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (ICITSS) consisting of Courses on Information Technology and Orientation Course before the commencement of their articleship.

2. Through Direct Entry Route

   1. Eligibility is Commerce Graduates/Post Graduates (55%) or Other Graduates/Post Graduates (60%).
   2. Undergo four weeks Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (ICITSS) consisting of Courses on Information Technology and Orientation Course before commencement of their articleship.
   3. Register for practical training of three years.
   4. Appear for CA Intermediate Examination on completion of 9 months of Practical Training on first day of the month in which the examination is held.
   5. Hence for Nov 2021 exams the student must complete 9 months of practical training on or before 30th October 2021 and hence get registered for practical training on or before 1st February and for May 2022 exams the student must complete 9 months of practical training on or before 30th April 2022 and hence get registered for practical training on or before 1st August 2021.

I am sure you all must have got a fair idea about the CA Intermediate registration.
